If Your BMI is between 35 - 39.99 your LEVEL OF HEALTH RISK is at VERY HIGH/SEVERE for chronic health conditions and you are a medical candidate for gastric banding procedure. At an average rate of one-half to two pounds per week, the resulting gradual weight loss will reduce your risk of serious health conditions, including high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, hypertension, high cholesterol, sleep apnea and diabetes. You will also be able to increase your energy, improve your self-esteem and have a better quality of life. You are a medical candidate for the Lap-Band System and taking measures now may prevent you health from getting worse. Insurance may cover your procedure since you meet the minimum BMI of 35 and may have health conditions associated with being Morbidly Obese.
